We see our website as a virtual park where you meet new friends, share advice, discuss pet related topics and even exchange pet sitting or dog walking services with other PetChums users!

PetChums is a website made for animal lovers, by animal lovers. We are truly passionate about the welfare and happiness of all pets. Along with being a website for much loved and well cared for pets, we hope that PetChums can also play its part in helping less fortunate animals. We are dedicated to promoting the outstanding work carried out by Animal Welfare Organisations each and every day.

PetChums is a platform for you to share your pet-related experiences, opinions and stories with other pet pals. You can do everything from chatting on our forum, to uploading pet photos, to finding the best pet services in your local area by sharing reviews, ratings and recommendations. Meet the Team

Bobs: Founder

Bobs has always been crazy about animals! So much so in fact, that she jumped at the chance to meet lions in their native Africa. Volunteering with ALERT, a unique programme involved in the rehabilitation and release of Lions back into the wild, was the realisation of a lifelong dream for her. This experienced also served to drive home Bobs’ longstanding ambition to work with animals on a permanent basis. Decided that it was now or never, she found work in the pet grooming and minding business in Galway her return home to Ireland. During this time she noticed the growing need for a website dedicated to pets, and thus Petchums was born. Her hope is that PetChums will be a place to share the joy and happiness our adoring pets bring to us!

Hugh (The Dogfather): Chief Business and Finance Officer

Hugh is the Chief Business and Finance Officer at PetChums. He loves animals - especially stray cats needing homes, of which he’s helped many! Hugh recently retired as Financial Controller for a multinational company. As the saying goes though, you can’t keep a good dog down so Hugh is thoroughly enjoying his new role as Dogfather to the PetChums family!
