Is a dobermann dog good for a family dog I was thinking of getting one from a pound it is 2 years old

i agree with daisy but if you have young family you will need to check him and children together. dobies are gorgeous and can make great family dogs and if you need help with training contact dog training ireland they are brilliant

Doberman are great for obedience and agility.. We had many doberman's growing up for security but some of them made great pets too. They LIKE to listen and love to learn, learn fast, and learn well. Loves to have contact with their humans, loves to meet other humans.
They want to be next to you, working with you all the time. They totally live to please you and modern dobies are bred for even temperments too. Very protective and will try to herd your kids. In short, an okay family dog as long as it's trained. |
