Description

ARAN works on many different campaigns here in Ireland and also supports many international campaigns by organizing letter writing and protests that help support the campaigns. Here in Ireland we are working to end as much cruelty as we possibly can and we do this by helping volunteers and members of the public get active for animals in their day to day routine along with our own volunteers working long hours coordinating research, lobbying and grassroots efforts. From writing letters, attending protests and speaking out for the animals with any chance you can get, together we are making a huge difference for animal’s right across the country and around the world that need our voice.ARAN continues to be a professional, peaceful and creative organization that is volunteered based where all our devoted resources are put effectively and directly into stopping the cruelty. ARAN believes that we can move mountains for animals if we all work together, this means people and groups, thankfully ARAN has a fine reputation with many respected animal protection groups here in Ireland, Europe and around the world and continues to receive tremendous support from many. Animal Rights Action Network will be holding our rally against cruelty toanimals with the following detailsDate: Sunday, December 6th 2009Time: 1.30pm SharpPlace: Garden of Remembrance, DublinContact: John Carmody 0872391646We hope to see you there.....

Description

Garden of Remembrance, Dublin 1

This beautiful garden in the heart of the city was designed by Daithi Hanly and dedicated to the memory of all those who gave their lives in the cause of Irish Freedom.  The large sculpture by Oisin Kelly is based on the theme of the "Children of Lir".  The garden is intended as a place of quiet remembrance and reflection.
