Im guessing its not just me that finds it hard to find a good cattery in your area i recently moved to Mayo and am at a loss so maybe if anyone has experience it could be really helpful for others.

Hi Brody,
Unfortunately I can't recommend one in Mayo but for people living in the Meath/Louth area there is a brilliant place called the Four Seasons in Trim. I bring my three there anytime I have to go away and Mary Baker who runs the place is absolutely fantastic; friendly, trustworthy, genuine and the place is spotless
Brody, maybe you could ask in your local vets who would they recommend or if you have any neighbours or colleagues that would need to avail of a cattery. Word of mouth is always the best recommendation.
Good luck!

Hi brody again i cant help but for anyone in northern ireland i work at one in annalong called cat haven with a seperate building used as a cat sanctuary for abondoned/rescued kittens and cats.
Cat haven has indoor runs for the cattery residents (and sanctuary of course) who benefit from individual heaters on the walls to keep them snug and 2 floor resting areas to which relax in aswell as wooden ramps up to the second floor for those getting on a bit in later life. Special diets and medications catered for and diary kept of daily routines in what they have eaten and when they have used the litter tray (just to make sure everyones fit and well!)

i definately would ask around at vets in your areas to see which is best reccommended as some can be quite iffy some times if you know what i mean!!

Cattery accomodation is availible at swillyvalley kennels, bridgend, co. donegal. We have a purpose built cattery, comfy, fully heated and totally separate from the kennels...see our website, www.freewebs.com/swillyvalleykennels. Good catteries are hard to come by and we have customers who come from as far away as bundoran! to use our kennels and cattery:)

Hi everyone, I know this was posted ages ago but I thought I would let you know about my service of Cat sitting or cat boarding. You can visit my site www.yourpetsbestfriend.eu

The service allows you to leave you cat in his or her own surrounding ensuring that your cat has the least amount of upset possible. I visit your home one or two times a day to feed, play and provide loads of love and cuddles.

The other option is that if you are heading away for a long period that I can home your cat to ensure that he or she has plenty of attention and love and doesnt get lonely.
