hi all you jack russell lovers out there i also am a lover of jacks i recently lost my beloved Toff a 12yr old jack russell she had severe kidney failure and had to be put to sleep, i miss her dearly and think about her everyday. everyone that knew her loved her because she was so mild mannered and she was never yappy all she wanted was to be loved fed and cuddled. Toff was a rescue dog that i got from a rescue centre here in Belfast and we had her from she was 7wks old until last month 18/6/10 we have a wee westie cross called Tess but affectionately known to us at home as tessie baby she is a wee darling and she misses Toff so much Tess was also a rescue dog and she is so loving she doesnt seem to want as much attention as Toff did but still loves her kisses and cuddles but she is very independant as well and likes to play with her toys. Jack Russells are wonderful dogs and i hope in the near future to be able to adopt another 1 just at the minute its too early for me to do that but i will be on the lookout for another 1 maybe in the New Year.

Love jackers, I have a two year old called Milo, provides endless hours of entertainment and dominates our rottweiler! Some mornings he will chase me and bite my slippers, I end up in knots laughing and he attacks them even more!!gas character

when your on this sites you should contact the person who is in charge of pup adoption and ask them to contact you when jack russell pups come in. after christmas there will probly be loads of the little babies. and most likely i will be there foster mom. plus might adopt one myself as i love jrts

Thanks Barbara, that was puppy Abi on St. Patrick's Day, she was about 13 weeks old. I've spent the last hour on loads of different dog rescue sites and now I'm all broody for another pup! Lol!

I've grown up with jack russells my whole life and I will NEVER be without one. My boyfriend was a bit dubious about getting one, thought they were yappy little things but now once we got Abi, he's a changed man :)
