Does anybody on this site keep coldwater fish and can tell me a little about aquaria parasites and molluscs etc? one died when we were away at new year and the other dies last night covered in mucous. there are black snails in the tank and white flaked in the tank which the fish won't touch...

we lost another one about two weeks ago, but the other two seem to be ok... the dipsticks showed that everything was fine but the chloride so we just started adding more aquasafe! Have you got a tank Rusty?

i don't know... going to Pets@Home tomorrow to get some of those dip sticks and some food for the GPS so we'll ask them what they think...
