Hi Barbara, I would love to see more events being added. Even ones that members themselves could organise etc. Here are a few more that I can think of:

. Special offers for pet products etc. Good petshops and things like that.
. More forum topics covered. Information on lung worm, fleas etc. and how best to treat
. More competitions!
. More dalk walking groups.
. E-mailed newsletters. I signed up but have never received one. When I typed newsletter into the search engine the most recent one that came up was from November.

These are the ones I can think of for now, if I think of any more I'll write them in later. Hope this helps!

I agree with Daisy, I have three dogs and two cats myself and luckily they all get on well together. Myself and my partner work full time but make sure to bring them out either in the mornings before work or after we get home. They are definitely great company for each other and we don't feel bad about leaving them at home because they have a big back garden to play in. If you really want to get them then I say go for it, especially if you have the room and the money to feed and look after them. They will be great company for each other. The only thing I would suggest is to introduce them to the cats slowly, put something with the dogs scent where the cats usually sleep and they will not be in as much shock when they come face to face. Hi Barbara, thanks a million for that. I've looked at a lot of websites and found a lot of them to have very long winded explanations. Just one other question though, do I have to follow this procedure each time I bring them away? i.e. blood tests etc. And is it a 6 month waiting period in total or six months after rabies test and then another six months after blood test?

Was just a bit confused about that part. Thanks again though, I have three dogs and two cats so might be too expensive just to bring them for a holiday.

Hello, am just wondering if anyone knows the procedure for bringing cat/dog from ireland to another european country. If dog is brought by ferry does it need to go through any kind of quarantine or get injections etc? I really am clueless about this so am hoping someone can give me some advice. We are thinking of maybe buying a property in france or italy in the future and would love to be able to bring pooches and moggies along with us. Thanks

Hi Barbara, not too sure about coconut oil, but know that olive oil and cod liver oil is great. I'm feeding my dogs Champion dog food and their coats are very shiny, esp my rottweiler. I also give him raw eggs in his food every now and then which they say is great for their coat aswell. Hope this helps!
