Following worldwide condempnation over the wheelie bin scandal, Mary Bale has been signed off work on full pay for at least three weeks for stress related reasons.  

A blind dog who spent most of his life chained up with no shelter has found a new family through The Blue Cross.

So you have all probably heard and seen of the video where a woman throws her neighbours cat in a wheelie bin which was then left there for 15 hours. Luckily Lola the cat was eventually found and is being well looked after by her owner.

Their two Bichon Frises Daisy & Bella, chow chow Fizz and Wayne's £1,500 French mastiff can now curl up in luxury during the winter months. "It's cost him as much as it would to do an average family home." The source added: "Coleen insisted on it. But Wayne's a softie with dogs so he agreed."
