A Chihuahua has made a lucky escape after being discovered in Dublin airport after been smuggled from Bulgaria to Madrid in Spain and then onto Dublin. Revenue Officers made the discovery after an image of a small animal appeared on the x-ray screen. The Chihuahua was placed in a cage, hidden in a holdall bag and carried on board by a male passenger.

The Dog is now with the Department of Agriculture and Food and is currently in quarantine. Some how I don't think this is the last we'll hear of this little fella! Stay tuned for updates.
