You've probably seen the ad's on TV for the newly opened Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Dublin. Lots of dogs in need of forever homes. Visit them from 12 noon - 4pm every day, including weekends. Closed on Turesdays. For contact information and directions go to the Dogs Trust website.
